The world of Motorsport has always been unique to me, ever since discovering it as a little kid in diapers!
I still remember watching the highlights of the 2003 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix when i was three years old, these are some of my earliest memories of being alive! Watching DVD’s full of WRC, Camel Trophy, Formula 1 and other content, bought through being magazine add-ons, or recorded by the DVD player in my house.
Of course growing up i had other interests. I still do! As a matter of fact i have a huge passion for history and a degree in Literature. But through all, motorsport still prevails as the biggest one! I never thought of myself as a journalist or a writer, but when an opportunity to start covering F1 presented itself, i jumped at it.
Here in my native country of Greece, mpaladofatses.gr was the first website to believe in me and my capabilities -still is! Nearly three years later i have written countless articles for them. But things did not stop at just simple stuff, like reporting on news stories. Since late 2023 i’ve had the chance to work with some amazing people, write analysis pieces and opinions regarding (mostly) Formula 1 and even having the crazy opportunity of interviewing drivers!
Domenico Schiattarella was the first former racing driver to open his heart to me, describing his racing journey which culminated in him driving for Simtek in Formula 1. Then came Alex Caffi, whose story, is unique, interesting and often forgotten. After that, the biggest moment in my brief journalistic career. Having a three hour chat with Marc Surer!
Marc Surer’s story is as inspiring as anyone’s out there. A man that battled through hardships, very tough luck and tragedy to still stand tall and be active in the motorsport world through his media work, after becoming a Formula 2 champion and Formula 1 points scorer. I still am saddened that his story is not as well-known as Martin Brundle’s, Johnny Herbert’s and Martin Donnelly’s.
As of today i remain a part of Mpaladofatses.gr, as well as contributing to F1Fan.gr, one of the biggest (if not the biggest) motorsport-dedicated websites in Greece and since early 2026 i’ve been a part of DIVEBOMB Motorsport Magazine!
My mission with creating Motorsport Storyteller is not just ”oh look at me i’m writing stuff”. My main aim is to dive deep into the thrilling world of motorsport, in order to uncover the most fascinating stories, be it famous ones or unknown. You can also expect analysis pieces, opinions on major news/developments and many more!
